I look forward to this year of Rotary for many reasons. I look to enjoy the camaraderie so pervasive in our club. I am also eager to hear from a variety of excellent speakers who will inform me about topics ranging from the Boys and Girls Club to the Military Academy at West Point and a myriad of things between. But mostly I look forward to the year because I believe our club has and will continue to have an impact on the quality of life in our community. This impact is evident in activities like the Children’s Christmas Party as well as the scholarships granted to college bound young men and women that will return to the community and make it a better place to live. My hope is that the Club will grow and become stronger so that we can do even more.
